My very first posting - Lasik

this is my first time writng a blog...

hmm... *Thinking what should i write about*
maybe can talk about my lasik experience done last sat...

not everyone are suitable doing this procedure for eye correction. It depends on individual eye condition. before the procedure, the eyes have to be clean from any contaminant so that wont get infection. during the procedure, have to strictly follow the doctor's instructions as the laser started to burn the cornea tissue. you will see the laser start to burn ur eye's tissue and with burned smell. then those burned stuff will be clean away...

post treatment have to follow the care instructions to avoid infection...

as of now, able to see clearly but still a little out of focus for one eye. able to see the wordings but with glare beside... doc said is normal as it wills furstuate... hopefully can fully recover...

"What is Lasik?
Lasik stands for laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis. It is widely considered as the procedure of choice for correction of most cases of myopia. Lasik sometimes is called the “flap and zap” procedure. It combines an established cutting technique using a cutting device called the microkeratome with the more recently developed excimer laser technique. First a circular superficial cornea flap is made with the help of the mircokeratome. Next the flap is folded back to allow the excimer laser to reshape the deeper layers of the cornea according to the patient’s spectacles prescription. The flap is then folded back and will adhere itself naturally without the need for stitches."
